I ordered an engine from this company because they offered a 3 year warranty. I was confident that everything would be alright and I could get past that three year point with no problems with the engine.

That did not happen. I purchased the engine in November 2014 and the engine went up in April of 2016. No problem, I have a warranty. Wrong!

When I submitted a warranty claim, the company responded in an email stating that I never activated my warranty. I did activate the warranty, but they stated that I never did. One problem is, you have to wait until the engine has been installed before you can activate the warranty. It took ten days to have the engine installed.

I feel that they want you to forget about activating the warranty. I took pictures of the odometer and attached to the warranty after the work was done. So, where is my warranty?

If someone did not activate their warranty, you have an invoice number and records of purchasing the engine and the odometer information, why is it a customer cannot receive a replacement engine or compensation for the previous engine. I think SWengines has a racket that's making quite a bit of money.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $2700.

Preferred solution: Reimburse partial costs of engine and labor which was a total of 2700. Or provide another engine and partial costs of labor..

SWEngines Cons: Paid for a warranty and did not get to use it, Managements customer service refused to respond to my calls.

No. My issue has not been resolved.

The BBB has classified the claim as unresolved since the company did not respond to my rebuttal. So the case has been closed.
